The 2,667 solar panels are mounted on a 2-High Post Driven Ground Mount, and this array can power roughly 131 average American households. The ground mount array utilized I beam posts in accordance with local building codes, desired height clearance, and site specific soil conditions.

    Fairhaven Municipal Landfill

Patriot Solar Group (PSG) worked in conjunction with Dynamic Energy on this 487kW array at the Fairhaven Municipal capped landfill in Fairhaven, Massachusetts. The 1,623 solar panels are mounted on a ballasted mount to prevent any penetration of the landfill cap, and this array can power roughly 79 average American households.

    Skidmore College

Patriot Solar Group (PSG) worked in conjunction with Dynamic Energy on this 2MW array at the Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, New York. The 6,667 solar panels are mounted on a Post Driven Ground Mount, and this array can power roughly 328 average American households.

    Washington Gas Landfill Maynard

Patriot Solar Group (PSG) worked in conjunction with Martifer Solar on this 1.2MW array at the Washington Gas Landfill in Maynard, Massachusetts. The 4,000 solar panels are mounted on a ballasted mount to prevent any penetration of the landfill cap, and this array can power roughly 197 average American households.

    Washington Gas Landfill Brookfield

Patriot Solar Group (PSG) worked in conjunction with Martifer Solar on this 435kW array at the Washington Gas capped landfill in Brookfield, Massachusetts. The 1,450 solar panels are mounted on a ballasted mount to prevent any penetration of the landfill cap, and this array can power roughly 71 average American households.

    Southbridge Solar Farm

This 3.4 MW solar farm features PSG’s fixed tilt-ballasted and post driven ground mounts which easily adapts to the steep and rocky terrain. With over 11,000 solar panels on the Southbridge solar farm its able to power 558 standard size U.S homes.

    Stafford Hill Solar Farm

The 2.5 MW Stafford Hill Solar Farm was completed in October of 2014 and utilizes Patriot Solar Group’s Ballasted Ground Mount. The project consists of 325 Watt Suniva Panels and includes 4 MW of battery backup for a nearby emergency shelter.

    Fort Custer Installation

Four Elements solar installation at Fort Custer utilizing Patriot’s Atlas Series Post Driven Ground Mount. The 257.4 kW solar array was installed in September of 2015 and includes 330 watt Suniva solar panels and SMA inverters.

  • Truss and Rail Installation

Patriot Solar Group’s Rail and Truss installation on the Delta Series Ballasted Ground Mount. Note that the attachment design of the post to the concrete ballast block includes a plate design that can pivot for installation on sloped sites. In addition to N/S Slope adjustment telescoping tube posts allow for E/W slope adjustment. The Delta Series Ballasted Ground Mount is a prefect solution for landfills, sloped sites with poor soil conditions, and brownfields.

    PSG’s Ballast Extrusion

Patriot Solar Group’s ballast block extrusion is a key factor in driving down installation and material costs for utility scale ballasted solar installations. By utilizing on-site ballast extrusion the shipping costs and installation time are both minimized. The result is direct material savings and minimized overhead.

  • PSG Manufacturing Process

Patriot Solar Group has recently transitioned to stamping and press braking the majority of the solar racking products that Patriot offers. The new manufacturing process has greatly reduced the price and lead time of Patriot Solar Group solar racking products. The video includes the truss and purlin manufacturing process.
